He is also the Co-founder and partner of Tri-merit Specialty Tax Professionals. He is an author, lecturer and the president of a 501C3 stroke survivors empowering each other organization and part owner of an award-winning craft beer and bottle shop in Chicago.
In December 2021, he was listed as one to watch in the section of Accounting Today, and is among the 100 most influential people in accounting. In may he was appointed into its tax counsel for a third-year term.
